Board Member Role at Wexford Residence

Become a vital part of Wexford Residence's Board of Directors in Scarborough. This volunteer position seeks individuals with relevant experience in health, IT, HR, or real estate.
Wexford Residence Inc. operates as a not-for-profit long-term care facility with various service offerings including independent rental units and an Active Seniors Centre. We are looking for dedicated Board members to engage in governance and decision-making. Monthly meetings and participation in at least one Board committee are expected commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend monthly Board meetings from September to June
• Join at least one Board Committee (Finance, Governance, etc.)
• Serve an initial three-year term with possible extensions
• Contribute actively to governance discussions
• Ensure representation of Wexford's mission and values
Requirements:
• Experience in health professions, IT, HR, or real estate
• Governance experience is a plus
