Job Description
Become a vital part of the governance at the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Ottawa as a Board Member. Contribute your skills to advance survivor-directed support and uphold SASC's values.
SASCO is seeking passionate board members committed to feminist and anti-oppression principles. You'll participate in at least six meetings per year and contribute to board committees focusing on finance, policy, or nominations. Candidates should possess expertise in areas like human resources or finance, especially with prior SASCO involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend and contribute to a minimum of six Board Meetings yearly
• Understand the board's role and SASC’s management structure
• Apply skills in a collaborative, respectful manner
