Boarding Counsellor, Camp Ridley

RESPONSIBILITIES

·Reside on campus and work scheduled overnight shifts within the boarding houses.

·Supervise and support the wellbeing of boarding campers during free time, evenings, and weekends, actively engaging in residence life and programming.

·Assist with the organization and supervision of evening, weekend, and off‑campus activities and excursions.

·Monitor attendance, conduct nightly check‑ins and spot checks, and supervise study periods as required.

·Supervise meals in the dining hall and support daily residence routines.

·Communicate regularly with the Boarding Life Supervisor regarding camper behaviour, concerns, and wellbeing.

·Follow established protocols for behaviour management, safety, and emergency response, including medical situations and fire drills.

·Support airport arrivals and departures for boarding campers as required.
