Boat Captain Guide, Maligne Lake

Role & Responsibilities

• Tour guides/captains demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to ensure a high level of customer service is given to each guest.
• Operate tour boats with the safety of all passengers as the primary focus, in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.
• Provide an interpretive tour experience in accordance with our programming standards to ensure all visitors to Maligne Lake have an enjoyable and valuable experience.
• Assist guests with any needs while on tour and at Spirit Island including assistance on/off the boat, photograph taking, answering questions and providing interpretive points as per our Maligne Lake programming requirements.
• Maintain trip and mechanical logs.
• Operate in a 1st responder role under direction from home base to any on-water incidents that may occur during your tour.
