Job Description
Our Client, an EV Manufacturer company, is looking for a Body Test and Validation Engineer for their Newark, CA location. Responsibilities:
+ Own and drive hardware testing and validation duties for body systems and components such as instrument panel, center console, door trims, soft trims, hard trims and DMS (Displays, mechanism and switches) as well as vehicle accessories.
+ Coordinate tests from setup through execution and reporting, including test planning, development, execution, inspections, root cause analysis, and data processing.
+ Design and fabricate custom test fixtures for complex bench test set ups.
+ Ensure test findings are well-documented and quickly communicated, root cause test failures and work with design, quality and manufacturing partners.
+ Tracking test schedules and timelines with external test houses and T1 suppliers to assure test schedules are met, and test results are accurate and as expected.
