BOH Steward

A Steward/Dishwasher is responsible for the cleanliness of all kitchen and dining ware, supports the kitchen staff in maintaining a safe and organized environment, and upholds sanitation standards. He/she will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of the kitchen by keeping all dishes, utensils, and equipment clean and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

Dishwashing & Sanitation

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using manual and/or industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Ensure all items are properly cleaned, dried, and stored in designated areas.
• Follow proper procedures for handling and sanitizing food-contact surfaces.
• Regularly empty trash and recycling bins in the dish and kitchen areas.

Kitchen Support

• Clean and maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and kitchen prep areas, including floors, drains, walls, and shelving.
