About the position

We’re looking for a Boiler Attendant to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our boiler systems. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

About the role:

• Check and maintain boilers to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Monitor coal usage, chemical controls, soot blowing, water softener tests, and blow-down procedures
• Clean soot and maintain boiler performance to maximise efficiency
• Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise downtime
• Use your strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently
• Inform the Maintenance Supervisor of repairs and required maintenance
