What you'll be doing

1. Assisting the Boiler Operator with the start-up, operation, and shutdown of industrial boilers
2. Monitoring boiler performance and making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal efficiency
3. Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating boiler components
4. Identifying and reporting any issues or malfunctions to the Boiler Operator
5. Ensuring the work area is kept clean, organised and in compliance with safety regulations
6. Providing support to the Boiler Operator as needed

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a Boiler Helper or in a similar role in the Trades & Services industry, preferably in the Welders & Boilermakers sub-industry
2. Good understanding of boiler operations, maintenance, and safety protocols
3. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
