Boiler Operator

Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Boiler Operators at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan. This position is responsible for maintaining low pressure boilers. Summary of Responsibilities: Attends to boilers and auxiliary equipment to supply steam for plant and process use Attends to equipment in the grinding, concentrating and dewatering areas of the plant and outside thickeners, pumphouses and disposal systems Performs equipment checks and inspections Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required Must be at least 18 years of age Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals Excellent safety record and genuine concern for safety in the workplace Excellent attendance record Must be willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working with boilers...
