Boilermaker Apprenticeship

Regional Group Australia (RGA) are seeking an Apprentice Boilermaker to join our team based in Cranbourne, VIC. 

Complete training and gain on the job experience to become a qualified and competent Boilermaker.

In this role you will learn:

• Medium to heavy fabrication in various materials.
• Drilling, grinding, material preparation.
• Measuring and marking out jobs.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Using hand and machine tools, welding equipment.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Be mechanically minded, organised and have attention to detail.
• Develop an understanding of RGA WHS policies and procedure
• Ensure that all required PPE is being worn at all times whilst on site.
• Follow all instructions from workshop manager and mechanics.
• Assist Mechanics with finding and fixing leaks and faults with machinery.
