Boilermakers - Cable Tray Installation (Electrical Construction)

Introduction

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Boilermaker Cable Tray Installers to join our electrical construction team for the installation of cable trays systems on a major industrial project. The successfull candidates will be responsible for the fabrication, fitting and installation of steel cable tray supports and structures in accordance with engineering drawings and site safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, drill, and fit steel cable trays, ladders, and trunking
• Install tray supports, brackets, hangers, and frames
• Align and level tray routes according to drawings
• Bolt or weld tray sections and supports to structures
• Ensure correct spacing, load capacity, and safe routing
• Work at heights using scaffolding, ladders, or MEWPs
• Coordinate with electricians and E&I teams for cable pulling readiness
• Maintain safety standards on site
