Book Formatter / Layout Specialist

Overview

We're looking for two Book Formatters to prepare manuscripts for publication. You'll be responsible for creating clean, professional interior layouts for both print books and ebooks. Your work ensures that every book we publish looks polished and meets industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Format manuscripts for print (paperback and hardcover) and ebook (Kindle, ePub)
• Create professional interior layouts including chapter headings, page numbers, margins, and typography
• Ensure formatting meets specifications for Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, and other platforms
• Handle various book types including fiction, non-fiction, children's books, and illustrated works
• Troubleshoot formatting issues and ensure files are error-free
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines
• Collaborate with the team to maintain quality standards
