Bookeeper for US company

Remote, full-time | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Salary: $1,400 USD/month
Experience with APPFOLIO required
We are hiring an experienced Bookkeeper to support a U.S.-based Property Management Company managing multiple properties. We need someone who understands accounting principles, keeps books clean, and ensures financial accuracy across several properties.
You will be the person who makes sure the numbers are organized, categorized correctly, and ready for financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Categorizing high volumes of bank and credit card transactions
• Maintaining accurate charts of accounts
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Cleaning up miscategorized or messy books
• Reviewing accounts for inconsistencies or errors
• Preparing books for month-end close
• Posting journal entries when needed
• Supporting multiple client accounts simultaneously
Communicating clearly about discrepancies
