Bookkeeper / Accountant

GRS Recruitment is representing a well-established and growing boutique audit firm based in the Nicosia, currently seeking a Bookkeeper / Accountant to join their dynamic team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Processing and maintaining accurate accounting records

Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES, and other tax returns

Supporting the preparation of audited financial statements

Liaising with auditors and management as required

Candidates with the appropriate qualifications and experience will have the opportunity to handle accounting files up to the stage of audit preparation.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience in bookkeeping and accounting

Strong knowledge of VAT and VIES preparation

Familiarity with accounting software such as - Sage 50 / SoftOne / Zoho Books

Knowledge of CaseWare will be considered a strong advantage
