Bookkeeper / Compliance Officer

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Accounting Head in accurately preparing, maintaining, and typing accounting documents and records
• Ensure proper documentation, organization, and filing of all accounting-related records for easy retrieval
• Perform duties in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
• Compute taxes and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Prepare accounting reports, summaries, and financial schedules as required
• Assist in the preparation and completion of bank reconciliations
• Prepare correspondence, documentation, and presentation materials related to accounting activities
• Maintain books of accounts, including the preparation of journal entries
• Ensure company books are compliant with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
• Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time
