Bookkeeper (Intermediate / Reconciliation-Focused)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Intermediate Bookkeeper whose primary focus will be accurate transaction entry and account reconciliation. This role goes beyond simple data entry - the ideal candidate understands how transactions flow through QuickBooks, how balance sheet and income statement accounts work, and can identify when something doesn't look correct.

This position is well-suited to someone who enjoys structured, process-driven work while also applying critical thinking and initiative when reviewing financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and review transactions in QuickBooks accurately and efficiently

• Distinguish between balance sheet and income statement accounts and understand how transactions impact each

• Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts on a regular basis

• Review balance sheet accounts for reasonableness and accuracy
