Bookkeeper (Remote UK Practice / Xero & QuickBooks)

We're looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who can take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks for a portfolio of UK clients.

You'll be working within Xero and QuickBooks Online, using Dext and other automation tools to manage the bookkeeping process from source documents through to reconciliations and VAT preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and post purchase invoices via Dext accurately and promptly
• Perform bank reconciliations in Xero and QuickBooks Online
• Reconcile clearing and suspense accounts monthly (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, Amazon, Shopify)
• Post and reconcile payroll journals and related PAYE/NIC accounts
• Assist with VAT reconciliation and preparation for UK submissions
• Communicate effectively with UK Pod Leaders to flag queries or anomalies
• Support the month-end process and ensure all ledgers are fully reconciled
