Bookkeeper - Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Team Lead – Onboarding to oversee the end-to-end onboarding of new clients and ensure a smooth transition into ongoing services. This role plays a key part in supporting Client Managers, coordinating onboarding activities, and maintaining high-quality delivery standards. You will lead a team of Senior Onboarding Specialists and help shape processes, workflows, and best practices across the onboarding function.

Key Responsibilities

Client Onboarding

• Lead the full onboarding process for new clients.
• Perform or support Xero balance conversions.
• Prepare or assist with month-end reporting packs for new clients.
• Conduct health checks on client systems and processes during transition.
• Join discovery calls and pre-onboarding meetings when required.

Quality & Compliance

• Review GST and other compliance reports.
