Bookkeeper - USA experience needed

A client is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage the daily, weekly, and monthly financial cycles for a complex portfolio of legal entities . This role is the backbone of our merchant funding operations, requiring a candidate who can move seamlessly between high-level inter-company reconciliations, payroll integration, and merchant-facing loan servicing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Multi-Entity Accounting & Reconciliation

• Maintain and update QuickBooks for eight distinct entities, including various funding accounts and sub-funds .
• Perform weekly and monthly inter-company loan reconciliations to ensure all internal balances are accurate.
• Execute complex journal entries, including Amex expense journals, ADP payroll journals, and month-end closing entries.
• Reconcile 401K reports from ADP against QuickBooks on a weekly basis.
