Bookkeeping (Construction)

We are looking for a Bookkeeper with background in Construction Industry, to support the financial operations of a high-end residential construction business in Australia.

This is a construction-focused accounting role. You will be hands-on with job costing, WIP reporting, progress claims, and construction invoicing, working closely with senior leadership and the contract administration team.

This role suits someone who is highly disciplined, detail-driven, and confident owning accounting tasks end-to-end in a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero
• Maintain accurate job costing across multiple construction projects
• Prepare, update, and interpret Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports
• Ensure WIP aligns with job costs, progress claims, and approved variations
• Track committed vs actual project costs
• Process supplier and subcontractor invoices
