Brake Press Operator

Onyett is seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator responsible for forming various types of steel for bucket and blade liners, forming metal into different degrees, and forming channels. These responsibilities include shaping metal, maintaining press brake, reading blueprints, completing inspections, packaging, lifting, and moving of parts & inventory, using a forklift, and following safety regulations.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities


+ Select proper tooling and dies based on material thickness and type.



+ Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.



+ Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
