Job Description:

A Branch Fund Custodian is responsible for managing and safeguarding the funds of a branch, ensuring compliance with financial protocols, and accurately processing transactions. This role is crucial for maintaining the branch's cash flow and securing assets. Key duties typically include:

• Manage the branch's funds, including cash, checks, and other financial instruments.
• Conduct daily cash counts and ensure that the branch's cash on hand aligns with records.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and other cash transactions for branch operations.
• Authorize and disburse funds for approved transactions in alignment with company policies.
• Verify and reconcile disbursement requests, ensuring they are properly authorized.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports for all funds handled at the branch.
