Bricklayer (Quilmes)

This position is based in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other similar materials to construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures.
• Interpret blueprints and plans, mix mortar, and ensure structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
• Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units in mortar.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings for layout and design.
• Measure and mark out work areas, ensuring accuracy and plumb lines.
• Construct walls, partitions, arches, and foundations.
• Mix mortar to correct consistency.
• Restore and refurbish existing brickwork.
• Adhere to construction safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of an apprenticeship or proven experience as a bricklayer.
• Proficiency with bricklaying tools (trowel, level, string line, hammer).
