Bridge Engineer

MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join the Transportation Structures team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of bridge projects across Alberta, carrying out detailed technical work, leading design teams, and managing projects within budget, scope, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural team in analysis, design, evaluation, and preparation of calculations and drawings.
  
• Prepare technical reports based on technical analysis, modeling, and design calculations.
  
• Prepare proposals, bids, and contract documentation.
  
• Monitor, control, and report project status internally and externally.
  
• Assist with financial arrangements for projects including fee forecasting, preparation, and allocation.
  
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and instruction to junior staff
