JOB SUMMARY:

The role is responsible for checking, preparing, and completing all customs-related documents required for the filing of import and export declarations. The position may also be assigned to process import permits as required by various government agencies.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Check and monitor the arrival of shipments.
• Inquire about and requisition demurrage, storage, and billing charges.
• Inquire about and compute warehousing charges.
• Prepare job reference files for accounting purposes.
• Classify imported commodities based on given specifications.
• Compute accurate duties, taxes, and other applicable charges in accordance with existing customs and tariff laws, rules, and regulations.
• Send duty and tax computations to Sales / Consignee.
• Prepare and check the accuracy of shipping documents and entry documents for filing with the Bureau of Customs (BOC).
