Building Components Engineer

Our client is a specialist engineering consultancy providing seismic and building component design across commercial developments. They are seeking a Building Components Engineer to join their Auckland team.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing seismic restraints for ceilings, partitions, and building services
• Producing engineering sketches and calculations
• Collaborating with architects, clients, and contractors
• Conducting site inspections and supporting construction activities
• Ensuring compliance with NZ Standards

About You

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Structural)
• Strong 3D visualisation skills
• Clear and effective communicator
• Seismic bracing design experience is an advantage
• Must be NZ‑based with valid work rights
