Job Description

Building Control Surveyors Required
Contract Length: 6 months initially
Location: East Midlands (Hybrid working arrangement)
Rate of Pay: Negotiable Hourly/Daily (Inside IR35)
Venn Group are currently supporting a council in the East Midlands who are seeking 2x Class 2 and 1x Class 3 Building Control Surveyors to join their Regulatory Services team. These roles are ideal for professionals with strong knowledge of Building Regulations, particularly around fire safety, dangerous structures, and enforcement procedures.
The successful candidates will be responsible for:

Examining deposited plans to ensure compliance with Building Regulations
Conducting site inspections to monitor building work and ensure legal compliance
Investigating and reporting on dangerous structures and demolition sites
Undertaking enforcement procedures for non-compliant building work
