Job Summary:

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of the physical infrastructure of a building, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and other building systems. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues promptly, performing routine inspections, and ensuring that the building is safe, secure, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic maintenance such as lights, switches, doors, furniture and simple plumbing.
• Carry out routine checks in classrooms, toilets, offices, corridors and common areas.
• Report any damage, faults or safety issues to the maintenance supervisor.
• Help with routine and preventive maintenance works.
• Assist during urgent or emergency maintenance when needed.
