Job Description
Sun Valley Co-op is a locally-owned co-operative serving Altona, Dominion City, Morris, Emerson, and St. Jean Baptiste.As a key member of our organization, reporting directly to the Home Centre Manager, you will play a vital role in driving sales, margins, purchasing, and inventory control for all building projects.
Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service, offering information, assistance, and service to customers while ensuring their needs, requirements, and expectations are met, while achieving departmental sales objectives.
• Prepare accurate estimates for customers’ building projects and actively promote merchandise sales based on these estimates.
• Deliver estimates promptly, meeting customers’ needs and expectations.
• Coordinate and order special inventory to fulfill project sales requirements.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the lines of merchandise in the lumber department, ensuring a high level of product knowledge.
