Building Science Consultant

Your Opportunity

The Building Science Consultant works in a team environment on several projects concurrently. Typical projects could include: review of new and existing buildings, development of design documents for repair, construction review, and specialty testing. The role requires technical knowledge of buildings and effective communication with clients and contractors. The role involves a mixture of time on site and in the office.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist in project management and coordination
• Perform site visits to periodically observe construction and prepare site visit reports
• Perform assessments to develop reports or studies
• Assist with performance of field testing (e.g. water leakage, air leakage, thermography, etc.)
• Assist with the development of design documents
• Attend meetings and document discussions
