Business Analyst / Cost Controller Business Partner

Job Description This position is for Pacific Carriers Limited (PCL), a company under Kuok (Singapore) Limited.

Major Responsibilities:
1) Act as the interface between the Team and Finance and Accounting (F&A), develop implementation plans associated with strategic initiatives rolled out by F&A in association with other Team Business Analyst’s.
2) Take ownership of financial aspects of vessels’ life cycle management and working with other managers (principally Technical Managers) to develop appropriate budget plans and budgets. Provide financial input to the following major initiatives:
- Annual budgets.
- Capital modifications.
- Dry-docking.
- Strategic projects.
- Other key events.
3) Work with the GM to ensure alignment of actual expenses with budgets and if there are deviations create plans to make realign to budget or manage the forecasting process to ensure the reports are built around sound commercial assumptions.
