**About Us**:**BUSINESS CONTROL OFFICER** - BCO****ABOUT THE TEAM**As Nubank continues its global expansion and continues innovating, the internal controls landscape becomes increasingly complex.Nubank has developed a strong Risk structure within the 2nd Line of Defence, which supports and guides the business in delivering on their current objectives.In order to keep strengthening our risk management capabilities, the question was raised as to how we could improve risk management within the 1st Line of Defence, without adding new layers of bureaucracy, and ensure that growth is done in a way where risks are proactively tackled.To protect the company from _Process Failures_, incorrect _Clients Products & Business Practices _or _Data Leakages_, Nubank must keep building on what the 2nd Line of Defence has created, to ensure sound business decisions.After thoughtful deliberations, 2LoD and 1LoD, agreed to create a new domain within the Product Chapter: the Business Control Office.
