Business Development Associate

One of our clients, a fast-growing global investment platform, is looking for a commercially sharp BD Associate to own relationships with UK & European VCs. This is a frontline growth role sitting at the intersection of fund relationships, revenue, and startup deal flow.
What you'll do
Build and manage relationships with GPs and platform leads at Tier-1 and Tier-2 VC funds
Own revenue targets tied to fund-led products
Source and scale startup deal flow via VC referral partnerships
Run the full funds lifecycle: outreach → pitch → close → onboard
Keep a tight CRM and provide clear, weekly pipeline forecasts
Work with Marketing, Finance, and Sales on content, events, and deal execution
Who you are
Commercial, relationship-driven, and comfortable owning a number
Strong understanding of VC, private markets, and fund structures
Confident navigating long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
