The Business Development Executive at a Glance
The Business Development Executive (BDE) directly contributes to the revenue of the company by being the key point of contact between an organization and its clients. Key responsibilities of the BDE include responding to client queries, offering them advice, and informing them about new products.
The BDE has excellent communication skills and feels comfortable reaching out to potential clients, as well as excellent people skills in building and nurturing the client partnerships of the company.
The BDE is also responsible for actively and continuously discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, promoting the products and services of the company to clients, negotiating contracts to maximize profits, and maintaining client relationships and client satisfaction.
The BDE reports to the Business Development Department Head and works closely with the Product Development and Process Management departments.
