Overview

We are seeking Business Development Experts to University of Helsinki science‑based commercialization projects. The University of Helsinki research commercialisation teams are looking for experts who are eager to make an impact by turning science‑based inventions into successful businesses.

Qualifications

Ideally, you would support the research team already during the preparation phase for the research‑to‑business funding call in Fall 2026. In case of a positive funding decision, you will join the team as a Business Development Expert (also known as Commercial Champion). We expect you to have a suitable background and experience in commercialisation and/or business, as well as an understanding of the project’s field of science. Fluency in English and excellent communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills are key.
