Business Development Manager

Overall Purpose of the Role
International SOS is seeking a Business Development Manager – Africa, based in Johannesburg, South Africa, to drive new business growth across the region. Reporting to the Commercial Lead – H3S, this role focuses on achieving and exceeding gross profit targets by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business across the Africa region through strategic market mapping, lead generation, and direct face‑to‑face sales.
Build strong relationships with prospective clients and senior decision‑makers.
Develop and execute sales strategies, pipelines, and plans aligned with business targets.
Conduct continuous market and industry research to identify opportunities and trends.
Represent the company at conferences, trade fairs, and networking events.
