Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager for Pet Food serves as the company's primary business consultant to Corporate Distributors (CORD) handling pet food products. The role is responsible for driving primary and secondary volume growth, executing business development plans, managing trade investments, and ensuring strong product availability, visibility, and speed of placement across assigned territories, aligned with regional and national objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Volume Growth. Plan, monitor, and achieve primary and secondary volume targets for pet food across assigned CORD territories, including reach, calls/day, productive calls, and new product placement objectives.
• Trade Spend & Budget Management. Manage and control trade spend budgets (CTS, payback, and trade activities), ensure efficient utilization within approved allocations, and ensure timely submission and monitoring of trade activity proposals.
