Job Description
The Business Development Officer is responsible for actively generating sales, managing leads, and closing deals. The role combines back-office coordination with front-line sales activities to support revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Generation & Business Development
- Generate new sales through outbound calls, emails, and online inquiries
- Identify, qualify, and follow up on leads
- Present products/services to potential clients and close sales deals
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients
- Sales Administration & Documentation
- Prepare quotations, proposals, sales contracts, and purchase orders
- Process sales orders and ensure accuracy of pricing and terms
