Business Development Specialist

With an emphasis on market research, client relationship management, and strategy implementation, a business development officer (BDO) finds, evaluates, and pursues new business prospects to propel corporate growth and revenue. In order to meet growth and profitability targets, key duties include generating leads, creating sales plans and proposals, negotiating agreements, and working with management and sales teams. Strong communication, research and analytical skills, negotiation, and market knowledge are all necessary for a BDO.
