Project Name: Oil Sands Monitoring Data Services

Scope: The Data Services team in Technology and Innovation supports the Oil Sands Monitoring Program (OSM) in Environment and Protected Areas. OSM Data Services provide the foundation and support to enable access to scientifically credible data collected by the OSM Program to all stakeholders. The team provides technical services and data management support to data-related projects implementing a data management framework, data governance, and technical systems in order to support integrated reporting and assessment of environmental conditions in the Oil Sands region. Data collection, data quality, data management, and data availability are critical components for achievement of the OSM Program's objectives.
