The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) sets international Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) for aviation safety, air navigation, security, and environmental protection. ICAO is a knowledge‑based organization developing intellectual property. The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Section, under the Bureau of Administration and Services (ADB), plans, acquires, develops, and manages the organization’s enterprise applications and systems. Key activities include core infrastructure and network services; software development and support for enterprise applications; Enterprise Architecture and Project Management; Enterprise Data Management (EDM); Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); web content management; and Regional Office (RO) support.
