This is specialized work in leading project initiatives for improvement of business workflows, procedures, and tools. The Business Process Improvement Specialist plays a pivotal role in streamlining development applications processing. An incumbent leads process improvement projects based on data analyses; defines project scope and requirements; establishes metrics and tracks performance goals to support management decisions on strategy, operations, and cost saving objectives; consults with various departments to assess business needs; analyzes and documents current work and system processes performed by staff; identifies inefficiencies and bottlenecks in workflows; reviews data on processing times and resource utilization; designs and recommends solutions to enhance the speed and accuracy of processing workflows related to organizational structures, system implementations, policies and procedures; develops frameworks to monitor and evaluate performance...
