Business Process Lead, Finance and Procurement

Description

The Business Process Lead is a critical role responsible for driving strategy and continuous improvement across the Source-to-Settle and Record-to-Report processes and IT system solutions in uses in Gilead. While the role is based in the Controllership sub-function under Finance in Cork, Ireland, its influence is global and extends to other non-finance processes such as direct and indirect procurement as well as to other finance processes like Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury & Tax amongst others. 

This position acts as a vital bridge between the business and IT, translating high-level business capability requirements into tangible business cases and solutions. The lead is the end-user representative and is responsible for stewarding the identified initiative as well as enterprise projects through governance, collaborating on implementation, and ensuring solutions deliver real business benefit.
