Job Summary
This position is primarily geared towards preparing meat products for supermarkets, restaurants, and small shops across Trinidad and Tobago. Essential duties include cutting, grinding, preparing and packaging meat orders. The Butcher must ensure that all items are handled safely, easily accessible and properly managed to prevent damages to the products. They must adhere to the company's policies and procedures; and must report any issues that arise promptly to Management.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Supervisor.
Duties & Essential Job Functions
Cut, grind and prepare meats for restaurants, supermarkets and staff sales.
Pick and prepare meat orders correctly and in good condition, following the FIFO (first in, first out) method.
Weigh, package and pull meat as instructed by Manager or Supervisor.
