Butcher/Meat Cutter

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, debone, grind, and prepare meat products (beef, pork, poultry, etc.).
• Inspect meat for quality, freshness, and proper temperature.
• Operate and maintain meat-cutting tools and equipment safely.
• Package, label, and store meat according to food safety standards.
• Follow sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or spoilage.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and cold storage.
• Comply with company policies and local food safety regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school graduate or vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience as a butcher or meat cutter is an advantage.
• Knowledge of meat cuts, handling, and storage procedures.
