A well-established retail store is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Butchery Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the butchery department, ensuring smooth operations, high standards of hygiene, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the butchery department
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Supervise, train, coach, and support butchery staff
• Manage inventory, including weekly stock takes and proper stock rotation
• Ensure freshness of meat products and remove expired stock
• Coordinate stock movements from the cold room and conduct regular stock scans
• Prepare and issue daily production lists and weekly duty rosters
• Maintain accurate temperature logs and enforce cleaning schedules
