Buyer

The Buyer is responsible for Sourcing, negotiating and buying of goods, materials and services to meet the project, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.
Should be responsible for basic purchasing of materials and services at the lowest cost to MDR using procurement processes that maintain consistency with schedule requirements.
Perform bid evaluations and issue purchase orders for materials and services.
Insure all purchase orders are complete and reference all necessary conditions and deliverables, including, signatures, marking, packaging, payment, documentation, and shipment details.
Identify problems and discrepancies that may occur and assist in implementing corrective action.
Ensure work is being coordinated between the other departments, offices, fabrication and construction to meet project requirements.
3 - 5 years of procurement experience.
Works independently with mínimal guidance.
