Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer/Purchase Coordinator with a strong background in sourcing and procurement of fresh fruits and vegetables. The ideal candidate will manage supplier relationships, ensure timely delivery, monitor quality standards, and help maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and purchase fresh fruits and vegetables from local and international suppliers.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and compliance with food safety standards.
Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors to secure cost-effective deals and favorable terms.
Monitor market trends, seasonal availability, and commodity prices to optimize purchasing decisions.
