Buyer (Sourcing)

**Sourcing Buyer****Responsibilities**:- Procures supplies, materials, services, tooling, and equipment for delivery at specified time or location.
- Places and updates purchase orders for NPI launches, manage delivery of products and ensures timely delivery to eliminate potential for backorders and stockouts.
- Work with the PMO team to update schedule on deliveries to ensure launch timelines can be achieved.
- Work with the Sourcing specialist on capacity planning and equipment requirements.
- Manage any subcontracting process.
- Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of materials through the fulfillment cycle.
- Advises team of any actual or potential material shortages.Work with Sourcing and Engineering to resolve any potential issue that may impact launch dates- Ensures suppliers have complete product information to meet product quality standards and deliveries for production and assist with the PPAP process.
