Position Summary

Buyer is responsible for executing the material supply plan to achieve 100% build-in-station targets (Process Metrics) and inventory goals for assigned suppliers. Accurately completes transactions in Oracle to maintain data integrity and achieve performance targets. Maintains clear communication with suppliers to provide accurate information that supports the business plan. Operates professionally and ethically in all aspects of the role. Manages easy to medium complex suppliers but could be assigned more strategic suppliers with support for complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily workload accurately and on time to support targets for P.O. validity, past-due and planned late orders, MRB, requisitions, P.O. creation, UORs, variances, and matching holds
• Expedites P.O.s, collaborates with customers to prioritize and achieve optimal results, manages P.O.s according to guidelines, and utilizes different P.O. types
